Mobility is all around us, and almost everyone engages with it on a daily basis. It is important to me to understand the purpose behind my work and to know that what I do brings about positive change. Goudappel is an excellent place to achieve this.
With a background in Applied Mathematics, I enjoy turning real-world situations into clear, manageable models that reflect reality as accurately as possible. Just as importantly, I like translating the results back into practice, ensuring that they are not only sound on paper but also genuinely useful in real-world situations.
I work as a transport modelling and traffic management expert, having started my career at Goudappel through its traineeship programme. Over the course of eighteen months, I worked with three different teams, gaining valuable insight into the different layers of the transport models used at Goudappel and the ways in which they are applied.
I gained experience in both model development and practical implementation, and also spent six months working with the Public Transport team. This gave me a broad understanding of Goudappel’s work and enables me to bring together knowledge from different areas, apply it across a wide range of projects and contribute to improving traffic forecasts.
