Working on active mobility and future-proof solutions is what motivates me. Walking and cycling are part of everyday life for many people, which is why I believe it is important to design spaces that support these activities. This helps create places where people can move around comfortably and safely.
At Goudappel, I have the opportunity to work with colleagues and clients to bring these ideas to life. I enjoy tackling complex mobility challenges where people, transport and the built environment come together. By looking at how these elements interact, we can develop solutions that not only improve accessibility but also enhance the quality of the places we live in.
With my background in Spatial Planning, I take a broad perspective on every project. Whether it involves creating safe walking routes, designing cycle-friendly streets or addressing wider mobility challenges, it is the connections between these different aspects that make my work so rewarding. Ultimately, I want to help create places where people enjoy spending time and want to stay.
